Leading the way towards a clean future
To be a pioneer in the electric mobility space, Portland General Electric (PGE) needed to help transform the transportation electrification marketplace — starting by establishing a network of electric vehicle charging stations. PGE engaged us to create an extension of their brand through these charging stations.
Electric vehicle charging stations are the future gas stations of transportation. They need to be easily recognizable to potential users while also appealing to drivers who might transition to electric vehicles in the future. PGE had the advantage of being an established, well-respected brand we could leverage, giving consumers the comfort of knowing they were using services from a provider they could count on.
Developed in tandem with our Full Clean Ahead strategic campaign for PGE, the Electric Avenue charging station design debuted at TriMet’s Sunset Transit Center and in the City of Milwaukee.
The new design helped elevate the brand experience and electric mobility focus of PGE and continues to be work people are talking about. Today, PGE is operating seven electric charging locations with more on the way.
