Company’s second acquisition this year will expand experiential marketing capabilities for brands transforming the way we eat, move and live.

broadhead, an independent, full-service marketing agency serving brands that transform the way we eat, move and live, today acquired Minneapolis-based agency Fame. The acquisition, broadhead’s second in 2022 and third since 2019, will further expand the agency’s experiential marketing capabilities.  

Fame has helped brands – including Best Buy, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Revlon – engage through multi-dimensional experiences that are designed to delight, inspired by human insights, backed by data and optimized by emerging technology. Lynne Robertson, who purchased the storied agency in 2015 from Omnicom Group and has since served as chief executive officer, will remain president of Fame and serve on broadhead’s executive leadership team.  

“We are incredibly proud of the transformational work we’ve done with some of the world’s most iconic brands,” said Robertson. “My team is excited to continue this great work with broadhead.  Their deep bench in strategy, engagement and data analytics largely expands our experiential capabilities and we can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together for our agency and our clients.” 

The acquisition comes during a period of monumental growth for broadhead, which earlier this year also acquired HMH Agency, a Portland-based firm known nationally for its creative work powering brands that are driving the future of transportation. Since January, broadhead has nearly doubled the size of its team, expanded to new offices in Portland and Charlotte, and grown its revenue by 70%. The company has also expanded its offerings with strategic hires in the fields of data science, predictive analytics and brand strategy.
