For the Johnson family, ranching isn’t just a business — it’s a way of life. We partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim to create a documentary following the sixth-generation ranching family and their dedication to putting the health and wellbeing of their animals above all else.

The 40-minute film follows the Johnson family’s experiences as sixth-generation cow-calf producers, showcasing their philosophy on progressive land preservation and their lifelong commitment to putting animal health first.

Many of the challenges beef producers face when it comes to public perception stem from a place of misunderstanding. Cattle First aims to address that misunderstanding, advancing awareness and pulling back the curtain to reveal a deeply human side of the beef production process.

Ranching isn’t just a business, it’s a way of life. We’re honored to be featured in this documentary by Boehringer Ingelheim, and believe that putting cattle first is one of our guiding principles — our livelihood depends on it.
