The recent PRNEWS Platinum Awards culminated a fruitful national awards season for broadhead’s PR team, earning the agency top honors in the category of “Integrated Communications, Marketing & PR Nonprofit” for work with the South Dakota Department of Social Services. Additional national recognition throughout 2020 included two PRSA Silver Anvil Awards of Excellence, two PRovoke North America SABRE Awards of Commendation, three PRSA Bronze Anvil Awards of Commendation and seven national AAEA – The Ag Communicators Network Awards. AAEA recognition included four first place wins: “Multi-Page Advertorial” and “Websites” categories with Boehringer Ingelheim, and “Technical Writing” and “Podcasts” categories with The Mosaic Company.

Regionally, broadhead’s PR expertise was recognized with three PRSA New York Big Apple Award wins, taking top honors with NY-based Beech-Nut in the “Targeted Marketing to Women,” “Best Use of Influencers,” and “Marketing Consumer Products, Food & Packaged Goods” categories. The team was also recognized with a PRSA Georgia Phoenix Award win with Atlanta-based good2grow for “Facebook Engagement,” in addition to two other Awards of Excellence at the event. Locally, the team received a Minnesota PRSA Classics Award win in the category of “Reputation and Brand Management” for Beech-Nut.

A focus on PR strategy that flexes and breathes with a changing consumer environment and media landscape to consistently integrate insights, creativity and measurement contributed solidly to the national and regional industry recognition for broadhead’s PR team.
