Broadhead, an independent, full-service agency based in Minneapolis, and Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), the second largest animal health business in the world, were recognized at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) Vetty Awards—the first and only animal health marketing awards competition—for their work on the Cattle First campaign. The Vetty Awards are focused on products and services available through veterinarians or that support the veterinary profession.
Taking Grand Prize in the Large Animal category, the Cattle First campaign sought to create a unique position for BI following an acquisition which expanded its portfolio. The new platform, Cattle First, fostered all of BI’s cattle-centric health solutions, education and advancement for the well-being of beef and dairy animals.
“With Broadhead’s long-standing relationship with Boehringer Ingelheim and experience supporting the company through an earlier acquisition, we were up for the task,” said Beth Burgy, President, broadhead. “We’re proud that Cattle First resonated not only internally with Boehringer Ingelheim, but externally with producers and veterinarians.”
