The Golden ARC Awards are presented by the Agricultural Relations Council (ARC), the only organization focused on public relations in the agriculture, food, fiber and related industries. The awards are the only accolades in the agriculture industry determined by public relations professionals.
broadhead, an integrated marketing agency, earned seven First Place awards for clients including Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., Cargill ProPricing, The Mosaic Company and USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) — Asian Longhorned Beetle. Two Merit awards were also received for Cargill ProPricing and The Mosaic Company.
broadhead was recognized with three First Place awards for its work with The Mosaic Company on "The Great Yield Mystery." In creating a series of fictional podcasts focused around Gerald Fitzgerald, a farmer whose yield did not meet expectations, broadhead provided an interactive opportunity for listeners to play along with the story via social media.
Winning two First Place awards was the PSA campaign for USDA APHIS — Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB), urging consumers across the country to check their trees for signs of this destructive pest. The integrated campaign earned an honor, while the specific "Spot the Beetle" extension of the campaign took home another merit.
Bringing in additional First Place awards was work with both Cargill ProPricing and Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc (BIVI). A sales-generating response program won gold for Cargill ProPricing, while a MediaFest for BIVI produced another.
