Minneapolis marketing agency broadhead won four Best of Show, 17 first place and eight merit awards at the regional National Agri-Marketing Association competitions between five regions across the United States. The regional award winners will compete at the National NAMA Awards Show in April.
"The diversity of awards won across categories this year is really exciting for us," says Beth Burgy, president of broadhead. "It shows the strength of our expanding offerings, and highlights the ongoing collaboration and hard work of our team."
In Region 1, the agency took home Best of Show – PR for its work on the Almond Board of California's Managing Dust at Harvest campaign, a video-focused PR campaign directed to almond growers in California. Also in Region 1, broadhead took home Best of Show – Advertising for its work on Greener Pastures, an audiovisual presentation directed to farmers, growers and ranchers for Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc. (BIVI).
In Region 2, broadhead won Best of Show – Digital for its Brag About Your Beef social program, a social media contest executed for BIVI. Beef Quality Assurance– (BQA) certified cattle farmers were asked to share photos with their herds to "brag about their beef."
In Region 3, the agency was awarded Best of Show – Consumer for its work on the sWheat Dreams campaign for Farmers Union Industries. broadhead targeted its cat-loving, female-dominated audience with a handsome wheat farmer and his best pal, Mittens the kitten.

Additionally, eight merit awards were presented for broadhead's work with BIVI, Farmers Union Industries, Hoegemeyer Hybrids, The Mosaic Company and Verdesian Life Sciences.
